Internet Economy

The Internet has revolutionized the way people, industries and nations interact by broadening the reach and increasing the depth of communication. It is transforming the buying and selling of goods and enriching the exchange of information.

Canada in the Internet Economy

Canada is in a good position to be a leader in the Internet economy. We have a highly connected population, sophisticated infrastructure and Internet policy initiatives. The potential is there, but Canadians tend to be more cautious in both their buying habits and their adopting online business.
