An investment in youth helps you guarantee a better workforce for the future. The Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC) believes that youth are a large part of Canada ’s future labour force. Partners for DiscoverIT.org must believe this also and share our commitment to:
- Benefit students, educators and families,
- Student’s educational needs,
- Student choices,
- Partnerships with clearly defined responsibilities and goals,
- Partnerships that do not exploit students in any way.
ICTC is looking for quality partners to provide Canadian students, educators and parents with valuable resource material in some of the following areas:
- Career Planning,
- Educational programs and funding,
- IT related teaching material,
- IT news and links to useful material,
- And more.

If you would like to share a story or contribute information to DiscoverIT.org, that would be wonderful. Here are a few ways:
- Submit an IT Profile in our A Day in the Life in IT. We are capturing workers across Canada working in and around IT.
- Submit a Company/Organization Profile - Let us know what your organization does, how you use IT, advice you have, what someone needs to work there, your accomplishments, etc or profile an organization or company that you think would be valuable for our audience to know about.
- Submit a School Profile – Let us know how you use IT in the Classroom/School or how your class works with IT.
- Share or create a lesson plan, classroom tip or aid, and send it to info@ictc-ctic.ca.
- Add an article in any of the areas that you would like, just send it to info@ictc-ctic.ca and let us know where you would like to see it.
